High quality diamond edge polishing process does not stress the acrylic like flame polishing and buff polishing can. The process is machine based using diamond tips that skim the edge of the material leaving a chrystal clear edge
Here’s what you need to know to ensure a successful diamond edge polishing project:
MUST BE CORRECTLY CUT
- It is important that all materials are correctly cut before diamond polishing can take place. The ideal cutting option is CNC router and laser cutting. Hand cutting using jig saw and table saw cutting is not recommended as a pre-cut edge is needed first to clean up the material to allow Diamond edge polishing to take place.
ALLOW LARGE PANEL SIZE
- If you are suppling your own material for diamond edge polishing please allow for large panel size to be supplied which Clear Design will cut to final size before polishing your materials.
